Previous | Home | NextIt is to be remembered that this Turgot presentation was in 1739, 66 years before the 2nd École Polytechnique was founded, and the appearance has changed a great deal. The street "Montagne Sainte Geneviève" is known by the same name, but the other streets have had their names changed, and the Panthéon has also made its appearance, greatly changing the landscape. The Église Saint-Étienne-du-Mont, however, appears the same and makes a good landmark. See next photo for an expansion.
